How do I know if I have PCOS?

This is NOT a complete list, and you may be experiencing some or all or even perhaps one of these symptoms.  Please use this list as a general guide and always refer to a Dr for proper diagnosis but above all, take responsibility for your own health.

  • Infrequent periods
  • Heavy bleeding (could be associated with clotting)
  • Cramping
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Excess hair on parts of the body that grow in a typically male pattern eg. chin, cheeks, jawline, throat, around the nippes, around the navel, upper lip
  •  Greasy/oily scalp
  • Oily T-zone on the face ie. forehead, nose, chin - or, it may be oily all over
  • Cysts on ovaries (can only be diagnosed via ultrasound)
